Navigation and Environment

In 2009-2010 Eco-TIRAS initiated the study of international law and experiences of regulation of the activities related to naviagation on rivers. Special attention was given to extraction of gravel and sand, in other words, sediments for of the river channel for navigation. In publication is summarised experience of different countries in regulation of such activities from the view of impact assessment to the environment. The book is published in Russian for post-Soviet countries. The publication became possible thanks to the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Bucharest and we thank them for this support.[download 3.5 Mb.]
